Part of me

My name is André dos Santos Cardoso. I’m Portuguese, living in Portugal.

I’m natural from Póvoa de Varzim (not Póvoa do Varzim), and I’m studying Informatics and Computing Engineering at FEUP.

I have two dogs and one cat (I thought this was worth mentioning) and a Powerball (I thought this was equally worth mentioning .

Some of my hobbies are watching TV (is this a hobby?), reading, trying to grow two “wanna-be” bonsai elms and some carnivore plants. Oh and, of course, running with my brothers and showing them that I’m faster than them. We use to enter some public competitions of about 10 km. I normally win .

In a more technical context, some of my interests are systems administration, Operating Systems and Network Architecture, which are all entangled. Though I’m not an expert in neither one of these subjects, they are my focus of study during much of my spare time.
